Geochemical Characteristics and Zircon U-Pb Ages of the Bayankalashan Group in the Ganglong Area of the Northern Songpan-Ganzi Orogenic Belt: Implication for Its Provenance and Tectonic Environment
松潘—甘孜造山带位于青藏高原东北部,华北板块、扬子板块、青藏高原3大板块之间,呈倒三角型。松潘—甘孜造山带被巨厚的三叠纪浊流沉积巴颜喀拉山群所覆盖(Gu,1994; Nie et al.,1994; Bruguier et al.,1997; Enkelmann et al.,2007; Zhang et al.,2008; Ding et al.,2013),掩盖了许多重要的地质信息,素有“中国地质百慕大”之称(许志琴等,1991)。目前,关于松潘—甘孜造山带形成和演化的研究较多,而对于覆盖其上的巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩的成因和物源的研究较少,争论颇多。主要集中在地层特征(朱迎堂等,2003; 蔡雄飞等,2004; 赵小明等,2007; 杨欣德等,2008; 陈守建等,2011)、岩石地球化学特征(杜德勋等,1999; 赵小明等,2006; Wang et al.,2011; 佟鑫等,2014)、碎屑锆石年龄(Gu,1994; Bruguier et al.,1997; Enkelmann et al.,2007; Ding et al.,2013),及其形成的构造背景和物源。
关于巴颜喀拉山群的形成的构造环境有几种不同的观点: ①弧后盆地(Şengör,1985; Gu,1994); ②残留洋盆(Yin and Nie, 1993; Nie et al.,1994); ③东昆仑—西秦岭的前陆盆地(许志琴,1990; 闫全人等,2003)。关于巴颜喀拉山群的物质来源争论较大,主要有以下几种观点,大别山超高压变质带(Nie et al.,1994)、秦岭—大别山造山带(Weislogel et al., 2006,2010; Enkelmann et al.,2007)、昆仑地块(She et al.,2006)、扬子板块(Bruguier et al.,1997)、羌塘地块(Zhang et al.,2008)。现在普遍的观点认为,巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩不是单一物源,为多地块混合物源(陈岳龙等,2006; Ding et al.,2013; Zhang et al.,2015)。松潘—甘孜造山带作为古特提斯洋的重要组成部分,对其进行研究不仅对研究古特提斯洋的演化规律有重要作用,而且对探讨松潘—甘孜造山带内与板块构造活动有关的成矿地质作用和成矿规律有重要作用。岗龙地区位于松潘—甘孜造山带北部,由于其恶劣的气候条件和交通条件差,使得岗龙地区研究程度较低,仅开展过1 ︰ 25万区域地质调查,没有对岗龙地区的巴颜喀拉山群做过系统的研究。本文针对岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群形成的构造环境和物质来源问题,对巴颜喀拉山群碎屑沉积岩进行了岩石学、地球化学分析以及碎屑锆石年代学分析,以探讨其形成环境和物质来源。
1 区域地质背景
岗龙地区位于松潘—甘孜造山带北部,北与秦岭造山带、昆仑地块接触。岗龙地区几乎被巨厚的巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩所覆盖,巴颜喀拉山群为一套巨厚的浊流沉积,具有弱变质作用。马尔争组为区域内最老地层,分布在研究区的东北角,为一套弱变质的沉积岩,与巴颜喀拉山群呈断层接触。曲果组为一套红色的砾岩,与巴颜喀拉山群呈断层接触,分布在研究区的中西部。研究区范围内仅出露少量岩体,侵入到巴颜喀拉山群中,主要分布在研究区的东北角和中部。区域内构造活动复杂,先后经历了古特提斯洋的闭合以及随后的华北板块、扬子板块、羌塘地块的闭合; 区域褶皱内发育(图 1)。
研究区自寒武纪到古生代末期,经历了多期次的“开”与“合”的构造运动,区域地壳演化是: 在新太古-古元古代为造陆阶段,经吕梁运动固结形成结晶基底,随后接受中新元古代的类盖层沉积; 早石炭纪—早二叠纪早期,古特提斯运动形成阿尼玛卿洋; 早二叠—三叠纪古特提斯洋闭合,松潘—甘孜造山带形成。进入新近纪以来,受印度板块与欧亚大陆持续碰撞,研究区再次强烈活动,形成新一期构造形变,并叠加于先成变形之上(许志琴等,1990)。
2 岩石学特征
巴颜喀拉山群最早是由北京地质学院于1961年创立,原指一套石炭纪的泥质碎屑岩系。1991年青海省地矿局进行了重新厘定,将其自下而上划分为下部砂板岩组,中部砂岩组,上部板岩组,顶部砂岩夹板岩组。后1 ︰ 25万达日县幅区域地质报告将巴颜喀拉山群分为下、中、上3段。在本次研究中,按照1 ︰ 25万达日县幅区域地质报告的划分方法,将巴颜喀拉山群分为下(TB1)、中(TB2)、上(TB3)3段。
巴颜喀拉山群下段(TB1)主要为一套板岩夹砂岩,含少量砾石(图 2a),向上逐渐变为砂板互层。板岩主要为碳质板岩,砂岩以岩屑长石砂岩、长石石英砂岩为主。发育递变层理和水平层理。
巴颜喀拉山群中段(TB2)下部为近乎等量的砂板岩互层(图 2b),岩石成层性好,向上逐渐变为砂岩夹板岩。岩石类型为中粒长石石英砂岩、石英粉砂岩和泥质板岩、钙质板岩、粉砂质板岩,少量岩屑长石砂岩、钙质长石砂岩、长石杂砂岩和薄层灰岩、细砾岩等。本段板岩以泥质板岩和钙质板岩为主。
巴颜喀拉山群上段(TB3)下部为高频率的砂板互层(图 2c),向上逐渐变为大套的砂岩夹少量板岩。砂岩以长石石英砂岩、长石砂岩、钙质石英砂岩、石英粉砂岩为主。板岩以粉砂质板岩、千枚状板岩为主,并有斑点板岩、条纹(带)状板岩、叶片状板岩等。 砂岩内部发育水平层理、粒序层理(图 2d)。
3 岩石地球化学特征
本次研究选择新鲜的16件样品进行主、微量元素分析,测试在国土资源部武汉矿产资源监督检测中心完成。主量元素分析采用X射线荧光光谱(XRF),误差小于5%; 稀土、微量元素采用电感耦合等离子体发射光谱仪(ICP-AES)分析,分析精度在5%~10%。
3.1 主量元素特征
岗龙地区所测16件样品的SiO2含量为57.09%~71.96%,TiO2为0.49%~0.73%,Al2O3为10.46%~16.03%,MgO为0.88~3.20,TFeO为2.70%~6.74%,CaO为0.38%~6.39%,Na2O为0.16%~3.45%,K2O为1.72%~4.45%。总体来看,元素含量接近上地壳的平均组分(Taylor and McLennan, 1995)。去除烧失量后与后太古代澳大利亚页岩(PAAS)相比,岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群碎屑岩SiO2含量较高,Al2O3、TFeO、MgO、K2O含量较低(表 1)。SiO2与Al2O3的比值在3.47~6.17之间,说明成熟度不高。在lg(SiO2/Al2O3)-lg(Na2O/K2O)的图解中(图 3),主要投在硬砂岩中,仅P1-23gxw、P1-1gxw投在石质岩屑砂岩中,1092gxw投在长石砂岩中,说明砂岩成熟度不高。主量元素Al2O3、CaO、TFeO、MgO随SiO2含量增加,组分呈下降趋势,反映随着碎屑岩成熟度的不断增加,不稳定组分含量逐渐减少(Bhatia,1985a; Camiré et al,1993; Gu et al.,2002; Yan et al.,2012)。Al2O3、CaO、TFeO、MgO的含量随着TiO2的增加,而减少,说明TiO2组分的含量不仅受到铁镁质黏土矿物的影响,同时受到黏土矿物的影响。

3.2 稀土、微量元素特征
巴颜喀拉山群碎屑岩稀土元素总量为(140.7~210)×10-6,变化较大,其中轻稀土含量为(125~193.6)×10-6,重稀土为(11.9~20.6)×10-6,LREE/HREE为7.1~12.77,(La/Yb)N为3.19~4.83,具有轻-中等程度的轻稀土富集,重稀土亏损,稀土元素配分曲线呈明显的右倾(图 4)。δEu为0.21~0.24,具有弱的负Eu异常。其大离子亲石元素(Rb、Cs、Ba、Sr)含量变化较大,相比后太古代澳大利亚页岩(PAAS),除Ba元素含量较高外,其余元素含量均较低。高场强元素(Nb、Ta、Zr、Hf、Y等)含量较低,低于PAAS值,与上地壳元素的平均值接近。
4 锆石U-Pb测年
锆石分选在河北省区域地质矿产研究所完成,锆石制靶在北京领航科技完成。制靶后先在中国地质科学院国家离子探针中心进行锆石阴极发光(CL)照相,锆石同位素分析在中国地质大学(武汉)地质过程与矿产资源国家重点实验室使用标准测定程序条件完成,锆石同位素分析方法和流程见Yuan等(2004)。 实验中采用He作为剥蚀物质的载气,U-Th-Pb同位素组成分析用美国国家标准技术研究院研制的人工合成硅酸盐玻璃标准参考物质NISTSRM610作为内标,采用哈佛大学国际标准锆石91500作为外标。样品的同位素比值计算采用GLITTER程序,年龄计算采用Isoplot3软件进行处理,实验采用的激光束斑直径为32 μm,实验获得的数据采用Andersen(2002)的方法进行同位素比值矫正,以扣除普通Pb的影响。
本次研究,在巴颜喀拉山群上段取1041Tw,中段取P6-23Tw,下段取1037Tw进行锆石U-Pb测年,分别测得锆石U-Pb年龄数据99个、108个、123个点。根据统计学数据,大于10 Ga的年龄,207 Pb/206 Pb 的年龄数据更准确,而对于小于10 Ga的年龄,206 Pb/238U的年龄数据更准确(Griffin et al.,2004)。
锆石的阴极发光(CL)图像(图 5)显示,碎屑锆石颜色较深,呈灰黑色,可能是由于Th/U值过高引起的(周建雄和陈振宇,2007)。锆石破碎,部分晶型完好。年龄大于1 Ga的锆石呈浑圆状,颗粒较小,长轴为60~100 μm之间,长短轴比例在1 ︰ 1到1.5 ︰ 1之间。年龄较新的锆石呈次棱角状,锆石颗粒较大,长轴刻度在120~150 μm之间,长短轴比例在3 ︰ 1到2 ︰ 1之间。大部分锆石震荡环带发育属岩浆型锆石,少数锆石具有核-边结构。
样品1041Tw中的锆石呈现237~357 Ma和400~480 Ma两个峰值,少量分布在1800 Ma左右(图 6)。锆石定年的数据点大部分落在协和曲线上。Th/U>0.3,阴极发光图像显示锆石震荡环带发育,推测为岩浆型锆石(Belousova et al.,2002)。
样品P6-23Tw中的锆石呈现4个峰值年龄: 241~296 Ma、398~545 Ma、1711~2027 Ma和2161~2450 Ma,锆石定年的数据点大部分落在协和曲线上。其Th/U>0.3,阴极发光图像显示锆石震荡环带发育,推测为岩浆型锆石(Belousova et al.,2002)。
样品1037Tw中的锆石呈现3个峰值年龄: 252~315 Ma,1757~1982 Ma和2320~2552 Ma,出现2个次要峰值: 379~480 Ma和2008~2150 Ma,另外还有1071 Ma、1330 Ma和2908 Ma 3个单点(图 6)。锆石定年数据点大都落在协和曲线上。锆石Th/U>0.3,阴极发光图像显示锆石震荡环带发育,推测为岩浆型锆石(Belousova et al.,2002)。
3个样品中,锆石年龄分布分散,出现多个峰值,显示岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群物质组成及其来源的复杂性。
5 讨论
5.1 巴颜喀拉山群形成时代
通常认为,巴颜喀拉山群形成于三叠纪末(青海省区域地质志,1991),但化石尤其是可以确定地层年代的无脊椎化石较少。目前对于巴颜喀拉山群的形成时代尚未有高精度的年代学约束。在1 ︰ 25万达日县幅区域地质报告中,根据古生物化石组合,将其定为三叠纪。Huang和Chen(1987)根据区域演化历史,认为其形成于230~203 Ma。近年来,随着锆石U-Pb年代学的发展,部分学者利用碎屑锆石的年龄来限定沉积岩形成时代。碎屑锆石的下限年龄为沉积岩形成的上限年龄,前人(Bruguier et al.,1997; 刘飞,2006)测得其上限年龄在210 Ma左右,与生物化石年龄相当。Enkelmann等(2007)用Ar-Ar法测得白云母形成年龄为205 Ma。Ding等(2013)测得最年轻的锆石为157 Ma左右,并认为是古特提斯洋残留洋存在所致。本次研究测得巴颜喀拉山群上段最年轻的锆石年龄为218 Ma,中段最年轻的年龄为241 Ma,下段最年轻的年龄为252 Ma。崔加伟等在岗龙地区测得侵入到巴颜喀拉山群中的花岗闪长岩,年龄为209 Ma(未发表),因此限定巴颜喀拉山群形成年龄为209~252 Ma之间。
5.2 巴颜喀拉山群构造背景
碎屑沉积岩成分受到源区岩石组成的影响,风化作用、搬运分选、沉积成岩和变质作用等多种因素也是影响其成分的重要因素,尤其是风化作用对碎屑沉积岩中的碎屑矿物和元素地球化学影响明显(Nesbitt et al.,1980; Nesbitt and Young, 1982; Taylor and McLennan, 1985; Fedo et al.,1996; Fralick and Kronberg, 1997)。
化学风化指数(CIA)是评价岩石风化作用的重要指标,CIA值一般在50~100,CIA值越高,说明遭受风化程度越大(Nesbitt and Young, 1984)。本次测得的CIA值大都在49~63(平均值为56),小于平均页岩风化线70,仅有样品1037gxw1的CIA值为82。在A-CN-K图解(图 7)中,风化趋势线与A-CN-K图的边平行,除1037gxw外均小于平均页岩风化趋势线(Nesbitt and Young, 1984),说明巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩风化程度较低,主要由斜长石转化为黏土矿物(LaMaskin et al.,2008)。成分变化指数(ICV)可以用来指示沉积物的成分成熟度,ICV值高说明成熟度较高,沉积岩形成于构造稳定区或强烈的化学风化背景下。巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩ICV值为0.49~0.87,平均值为0.67,小于1,岩石成熟度低,说明巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩形成于强烈的构造环境中。随着风化作用的进行,将难溶U4+氧化为易溶的U6+,U元素含量会升高,因此Th/U值会随之增大(McLennan et al.,1990)。巴颜喀拉山群Th/U值为2.8~6.71,除P2-9gxw为2.97之外,其余样品均略高于上地壳平均Th/U值3.8(Taylor and McLennan, 1985),反映了巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩总体上风化程度较低,与CIA和ICV反映的值一致。

不同的构造环境碎屑岩所表现出来的地球化学特征也不一样(Maynard et al.,1982; Bhatia, 1985a,1985b; Taylor and McLennan, 1985; McLennan et al.,1990)。Roser和Korsch(1988)根据碎屑岩中K2O/Na2O-SiO2的关系提出区分被动大陆边缘(PM)、活动大陆边缘(ACM)和岛弧(ARC)3种构造环境的图解,在K2O/Na2O-SiO2投图中,巴颜喀拉山群碎屑岩投在活动大陆边缘和岛弧带(图 8a)。将数据投于Maynard等(1982)提出的判别图解K2O/Na2O-SiO2/Al2O3(图 8b)中,巴颜喀拉山群主要投在岛弧构造环境和演化岛弧构造环境,部分投在活动大陆边缘。在Roser和Korsch(1988)根据碎屑岩的主量元素特征提出的F1-F2判别图解(图 9),巴颜喀拉山群全部投在长英质火山源区(大陆边缘)和再循环造山带中。根据CIA值和ICV值岩石形成于强烈的构造环境下,推测巴颜喀拉山群形成于被动大陆边缘的可能性不大。
部分微量元素(REE、Th、Nb、Y等)因为其活动性较差,因此更适合沉积岩源区和构造环境分析(Bhatia,1985a; Bhatia and Crook, 1986)。在 图 10中,巴颜喀拉山群主要投在岛弧范围内。
巴颜喀拉山群岩石大量的碎屑锆石年龄与其沉积时代接近,以及一些锆石的Hf模式年龄值与锆石U-Pb年龄接近(董俊待发表资料),也暗示其形成于岛弧的环境(杜利林等,2013)。1 ︰ 25万达日县幅区域地质报告中,在当项—上贡麻等地的巴颜喀拉山群上段发现少量安山岩夹层; Wang等(2011)在研究上日拉时发现晚三叠纪火山岩,为岛弧沉积。结合岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群风化条件、主微量元素特征以及碎屑锆石数据,推测巴颜喀拉山群主要形成于岛弧环境,这与前人研究结果一致(赵小明等,2006; 佟鑫等,2014)。
5.3 巴颜喀拉山群物源
锆石是最为稳定的矿物成分之一,抗风化能力强,受沉积分选过程的影响较小,其U-Th-Pb同位素体系封闭温度高,受后期构造热事件影响较小(Dodson et al.,1998),碎屑锆石的年龄特征可以直接反应沉积物源区岩石的年龄组成,碎屑锆石U-Pb定年是当前沉积物源区示踪最为成熟的方法。
所选取的3个样品中,锆石年龄峰值之一在~531 Ma,与昆仑地块的年龄分布相近(Cowgill et al.,2003; Schwab et al.,2004; Chen et al.,2006; Weislogel et al., 2006,2010; Ding et al.,2013)。前人(Weislogel et al.,2010; Ding et al.,2013)测得的古流向为北、北-西-南-东向,也指向三叠纪沉积岩物质来源于昆仑地块。Zhang等(2015)测得的Hf同位素数据显示,巴颜喀拉山群碎屑锆石与昆仑地块相似。推测昆仑地块为岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群的主要物源之一。
华北克拉通主体是在吕梁期固结成一个整体的(赵宗溥,1993),直到中生代一直保持相对稳定; 期间,仅发育少量基性岩脉(Yang et al.,2009; Zhai,2011)。所取3个样品中测得的年龄,大于2600 Ma的锆石很少,说明巴颜喀拉山群很少有太古代的物质加入,少量大于2600 Ma的年龄推测其来自于太古代锆石再循环沉积物有关(Zhang et al.,2015)。在巴颜喀拉山群所测年龄中,存在大量的显生宙的年龄,很显然不可能来自于华北板块。另外,在本次研究中,测得的大于1.7 Ga的年龄数据,测得少量Hf同位素显示,εHf(t)为负值(未发表),与在华北板块中发现的大于1.7 Ga锆石数据中,有超过一半的为正值(第五春荣等,2011)不相符。因此,本文认为华北板块不是本区三叠纪物质的主要来源,与前人(Zhang et al.,2015; Ding et al.,2013等)的研究结果一致。
扬子板块在前寒武纪分别出现2900~2950 Ma和2000~2100 Ma两个高峰期,而岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群所测锆石年龄中,几乎未出现2900~2950 Ma的年龄数据,2000~2100 Ma的年龄数据也很少(图 6)。扬子板块在中新元古代就形成了稳定的基底,经历了两期构造热事件: 四堡运动(1100~1000 Ma)和晋宁-澄江运动(800~700 Ma)(Li et al.,2002; Li et al.,2003; Chen et al.,2003),但本文所测得的数据中几乎不含有这2个年龄段的锆石数据。扬子板块在500~212 Ma几乎没有发生构造运动(Huang and Chen, 1987; Nie et al.,1994),而岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群沉积岩碎屑锆石在500~212 Ma之间出现明显的峰值,因此扬子板块不可能作为岗龙地区三叠纪沉积岩的物源区。Zhang等(2015)所测的锆石Hf同位素数据显示,巴颜喀拉山群与扬子板块的εHf(t)不相符(董俊未发表资料)。
秦岭造山带为扬子板块基底,覆盖有扬子板块古生代沉积物,扬子板块不是岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群主要物源区(Nie et al.,1994; 毛世东等,2012),因此推断南秦岭不是岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群主要物源区。北秦岭造山带分为海西期的岛弧和华北板块的基地,如前所述,华北不是构成岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群主要物源。海西期岛弧含有大量的300~400 Ma之间的锆石(Zhang et al.,2015),有可能是巴颜喀拉山群300~400 Ma之间的锆石的来源,另外在元素投图中,岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群物源区的构造环境为岛弧,推测北秦岭海西期岛弧有可能为岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群的源区之一。
岗龙地区所测三叠纪年龄分布与羌塘地块相似(Ding et al.,2013; Zhang et al.,2015)(图 6),锆石Hf同位素显示,岗龙地区三叠纪碎屑岩与羌塘地块相似(Zhang et al.,2015)。因此,本文认为羌塘地块为岗龙地区三叠纪碎屑岩的主要沉积物源之一。
6 结论
(1) 根据测得的碎屑锆石年龄数据及研究区中侵入到巴颜喀拉山群中的花岗闪长岩的年龄,将岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群形成年龄限定在209~252 Ma之间。
(2) 岩石地球化学特征显示,巴颜喀拉山群主要为一套硬砂岩,风化程度较低,形成于构造活动强烈的环境中。根据其主微量元素特征,推断其形成于岛弧环境中。
(3) 巴颜喀拉山群碎屑锆石呈现明显的3个峰值: 212~500 Ma、1711~2000 Ma和2200~2500 Ma,根据锆石年龄与邻区地层对比发现,岗龙地区巴颜喀拉山群碎屑锆石主要来自羌塘地块和昆仑地块。
