associate in solar thermal technology. Required profile: PhD in
Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Materials Engineering. Solid
background in thermal-fluid sciences with excellent mathematical

writing skills. Responsibilities: Experimental and theoretical
research in the field of high temperature solar thermochemical
technology via design, modeling, and testing of solar
thermochemical reactors and processes, publications in refereed
journals and conferences. Particular focus of the open positions
will be on the use of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) springs as
actuators to track the sun. The project involves: (1) estimation of
the variation of the force exerted by an SMA spring with respect to
temperature, (2) experimental testing and viability of SMA spring
use in actuating Stirling engine coupled dish, (3) development of a
receiver for efficient heating of the Stirling engine working fluid.
The project involves in depth heat transfer analysis with radiation
heat transfer focus, and thorough optical ray tracing via TracePRO

study the mechanisms of therapeutic actions of anti-cancer
compounds targeting various bio- markers on cancer and cancer
