The Vascular Biology Laboratory of Winthrop University Hospital’s
Research Institute has an opening at the level of postdoctoral
research associate to join their team examining the vascular
complications associated with diabetes and obesity. This vital
position will focus on understanding the role of incretions and
prostaglandins in the atherosclerotic process, as well as their link
to inflammation. Successful candidates will be responsible for
experimental design and execution; data analysis; manuscript and

The Seal laboratory currently has positions open 1) to understand
the behavioral and physiological role of glutamate co- release in
forebrain cholinergic circuits including striatum and basal
forebrain and 2) to study mechanisms of modulation within the
basal ganglia and its affects on normal behavior as well as drug
addiction and Parkinson’s disease. The work will rely on a
multidisciplinary approach combining genetically modified mice

University of California Davis is looking for a highly motivated
postdoctoral scholar with a strong record in bioinformatics and/or
biostatistics. This successful individual will combine mathematical,
biological, and programming expertise to define and optimize
solutions for high dimensional ‘Omic’ data integration and

University of Pittsburgh is seeking candidates for postdoctoral
position to start from March 2014 or later. The broad interest of
the lab is in molecular and system level understanding of
epigenetic mechanisms in gene regulation. The work, being highly
multidisciplinary, combines organic synthesis, mechanistic
biochemistry, and protein engineering with proteomics and
functional genomics to investigate the role of chemical
modifications occurring in the chromatin landscape. Development
of small-molecule therapeutics to reverse epigenetic misregulation
in human disease is another major direction. Candidates should

South Dakota State University is seeking a 9-month, tenure-track
